Midmar is situated a couple km off the N3 and can be approached via the Howick North/ Tweedie off-ramp or the Howick off-ramp. It is 30 minutes from Pietermaritzburg and 4hrs from Joburg.

Midmar Resort features 14 two-bed chalets, 13 four-bed chalets with two bedrooms, three five-bed chalets with two bedrooms and two six-bed chalets with three bedrooms.

All the chalets include a lounge/dining room, fully equipped kitchen and barbecue facilities. One of the six-bed chalets caters for disabled visitors. All chalets are equipped with DSTV.
