branch in Bellville in the Western Cape. Located
at 212 Durban Road in Oakdale, Cape Town, this
42nd branch quickly follows last month’s
opening of our Rustenburg branch in the North
West. Uta Wessels is the Bellville branch manager
and we wish her and her team First success. |

streets wearing their ‘First for Bafana
Bafana’ supporters shirts and blowing their
vuvuzela’s for 5 minutes and beyond. We

Scores a Century
First Car Rental’s ‘Kick it with Connor’
competition, which closed on the 11th July, was
a great success with approximately 1500 Football
First entries and 12 video entries of amazingly
sporty dogs, cats and birds. The winners of the
Chevrolet Spark Lite and car rental weekends will
be announced on 2nd August and will be featured
in our August newsletter. |

Car Rental joins SAFTLA
First Car Rental, a member of SAVRALA (South African
Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association), has joined
SAFTLA (South African Fleet Traffic & Licensing
Association), a Section 21 non-profit organisation
set up after a recommendation from the judiciary
in Cape Town in 2009. SAFTLA was formed to create
a mouthpiece for fleet companies with the Metro
and Licensing Departments to reach a standard
within the industry. |
