Welcome to the September
2009 Pam Golding Property Group newsletter
Confidence in the property market is
growing even though the economy is proving slower
to recover. It is still an investors market
though with lots of valuable stock on the market.
It is interesting to know that 92% of mortgage
credit granted in 2008 went to individuals with
a gross income of more than R15, 000 per month.
The signs of a turnaround are there, if somewhat
hazy. |

challenging property landscape, specialised

| Recession!
What recession? According to Chris
Baker, PGP’s top Goldclub Agri agent,
lifestyle smallholdings in Stellenbosch
proved to bullet-proof throughout the recession.
Instead of prices dropping, as has been
the case in the rest of the world, the Stellenbosch
lifestyle property prices have continued
their historical upward trend.
